About the Artist: Robbie L French
I was born in 1974 in Vero Beach, Florida. I was the oldest of the 4 children, 2 brothers and 1 sister. I have been told that I began to love art at an early age, and since my mother was an artist. I learned from her and was inspired by her to draw and paint.
In 2001 I was in a bad car accident where I have lost all my past history. Between family and friends they told me how good of an artist I was, but never did anything to see if I still had it until 9-11 happen. It inspired me to start my art again and from there I have done window art and sketches ever since.
I enjoy painting and drawing on wood, glass, canvas and anything I can draw on. I enjoy working with oils and acrylic.
I love all types of art, I am not only into drawing and painting, and I also do floral arrangements. I am currently working on my skills to draw the human form. As an artist I love to make people smile and think about the good things in life and to me there’s no better way to do that then through art.
About the Elephant and Giraff Painting:
It was inspired from a pillow that a dear friend of mine had and he wanted to have a painting of it for his wife, for a Christmas present. So I did it on a 28 X 28 ½ piece of plywood. I drew the picture and painted it was acrylic paint. Right now this piece is hanging on display at Picture Perfect Gallery in Billings, Montana until Dec 22, 2006.

About the window paintings:
Like I said, I was inspired after 9-11 and since then I love all holidays and any joyful events. I began to paint on windows for homes and businesses. It’s a cool way to spread the joy of the seasons and to brighten up your home or business.
